The project team is working to open the georeferenced data of South Tyrol, to ensure the citizen can use this high quality data every day.
The main data we are opening as Open Data are streets and street numbers.
The data can be used by developers, by researchers, by teachers, by everyone to create new applications or integrate in existing systems.
We are working together with Mappers, mainly with the OpenStreetMap mappers community. OpenStreetMap is a project to implement a worldwide Map in a collaborative way, it is the Wikipedia of georeferenced data.
Open Data is important for innovation of the local economy and we are work tightly together with companies who use georeferenced data or develop systems based on them.
